Smoking Ceremony
Stuart Winters (Business Unit Director, Brisbane) and Steven Lolias (First Nations Engagement Leader) witnessed an amazing smoking ceremony from the Minjil cultural group to mark the completion of one of our client’s office refurbishment projects.
Furniture Donation
In May, we offered support, time, and coordination to deliver a donation of furniture to the Yarrabah Community located in far North QLD. The items donated came from our client’s office fit-out and were destined for landfill. Our community partners redirected and rehomed office cupboards, cabinets, chairs, electronic whiteboards, white goods, and more to multiple not-for-profit organisations that were under-resourced and without the funds available to fit out their offices.

Policies & Procedures Review
We are committed to fostering a culture of inclusivity and respect. As part of our Innovate Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP), we have conducted a thorough review of our policies and procedures to ensure they align with our values of promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion. We are pleased to report that over 13 of our existing policies and procedures already contain statements that support anti-discrimination and aim to improve race relations. Building on this foundation, we are now embarking on the next phase of our RAP, which involves developing, implementing, and communicating our anti-discrimination policies and strategy. This will be guided by our global DE&I goals and actions, with a focus on key areas such as:
Our goal is to provide opportunities for leadership development, networking, and professional growth, and to recognise and reward the contributions of our First Nations employees. By focusing on these three pillars, we aim to create a workplace where our First Nations employees can thrive, grow, and reach their full potential.
