Retake Quiz
It can be hard to tell whether you should head to the emergency room or an urgent care center. Urgent care facilities can treat most illnesses, like fever, flu-like symptoms, coughs, colds and sore throats. However, you should go to the nearest emergency department or call 911 if you have trouble breathing, disorientation or confusion, or fever higher than 105 degrees.
Seek Immediate Care
Take an at-home COVID-19 test and stay home and isolate. Call your doctor or seek immediate care if you experience trouble breathing or you have chest pain.
Test At Home
You may be able to manage your symptoms by treating at home with rest, fluids and over-the-counter medications to relieve fever or cough. If symptoms don’t improve after a few days, call your doctor.
