Emory University Hospital Intensive Care Unit Upfit
The Intensive Care Unit Upfit was an enabling project that stemmed from the master plan implementation. The goal of the implementation projects is to expand and upgrade the current footprint of Emory University Hospital’s Heart & Vascular (H&V) procedural area and incremental inpatient beds. BayCare Mease Countryside Hospital Pavilion
Following our development of a master plan for the existing Mease Countryside Hospital campus, our team coordinated medical facilities planning and complete design services for a major expansion and renovation project consisting of a four-story, 123,000 SF new patient pavilion, 950-space parking structure, 13,200 SF covered pedestrian bridge, and more than 100,000 SF of backfill renovation. Baptist Health Borowry Family Children’s Critical Care Tower at Wolfson Children’s Hospital
One of the major projects resulting from the master planning on the Baptist Health Jacksonville campus is the Women’s and Children’s Hospital and Baptist Entry Care Pavilion. This building serves as the new public entry and lobby for the entire Downtown Campus and supported a major NICU and PICU expansion. The new building is approximately 228,000 SF and houses a two-level grand lobby, as well as 75 private NICU beds and 50 private PICU patient rooms; each with family rooming areas. Fairfield Memorial Hospital Expansion
As part of a fully-integrated project team, Haskell's Healthcare Engineering team collaborated with our Design and Construction team to design and build a 55,000 SF addition to Fairfield Memorial Hospital. Our process maximized the client’s financial resources by expenditing the design process to reduce the overall project schedule. Thoughtful meeting scheduling minimized travel expenses, maximized client internal concurrence, and facilitated the decision delivery process. Medical Office Building Experience
Centra Health Langhorne Medical Center
Haskell was selected by Centra Health to develop a 125,000 SF Medical Office Building. Each level of the building is planned to consist of the elevator lobby area, common corridor as required for tenant layout, public restrooms, building support spaces, and tenant upfits including ambulatory services, imaging, and physician spaces. Orlando Health St. Petersburg Women's Pavilion
To better serve central Florida communities, Orlando Health is updating, expanding and creating new facilities to support their continuum of care delivery model. The 3-story, 60,000 SF outpatient complex will be a technologically advanced facility dedicated to women’s health and wellness, with the latest imaging tools for screening and diagnostic capabilities. Self Regional Healthcare Pain and Spine Clinic
The Self Regional Spine Center, Neurology Center, and Pain Management Clinic relocates the existing off-site Neurosurgery and Physiatry practice into a modernized facility that amplifies the Neurology, Physiatry, and Pain Management continuum of care available to the local community. The proposed project is a new single-story building approximately 33,100 SF and will accommodate exam rooms for the Neurosciences programs (Neurosurgery, Physiatry, Neurology and Neurodiagnostic), and the Pain Management Clinic. Baptist Health HealthPlace at Nocatee
Located on a 12-acre Greenfield site, this 83,000 SF health and wellness center houses primary care, behavioral health, orthopedics, cardiology, OB/GYN, otolaryngology, and pediatric rehabilitation. The facility also provides outpatient physical therapy space for Brooks Rehabilitation, sharing some space and services with an in-house YMCA. Haskell Services Provided: Engineering, Design

CHRISTUS Health Santa Rosa Hospital Westover Hills Patient Tower
To accommodate a growing population, CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Hospital – Westover Hills engaged Haskell to plan and design a 164,000 SF patient tower addition to increase capacity as patient demand in the area increases. The overall design theme of the tower is contemporary, transitioning from the existing hospital’s Mediterranean design image of stucco and “punched” window openings, to curtain wall glass with masonry and metal panel accents. Orlando Health Neuroscience Institute
Haskell was engaged by Orlando Health for this 45,000 SF outpatient facility. The Neuroscience Institute was designed to provide clinical and support spaces, as well as procedure suites for the neurosurgery, pain management, and neurology programs, and a spine center of excellence along with a multipurpose lecture hall. Interior Design Services
Emory University Hospital Endo & Perioperative Renovation
Focused on improving the patient care and surgical outcomes, Emory University Hospital (EUH) engaged Haskell Healthcare to provide design services for an 11,200 SF renovation project which includes modifications to endoscopy and prep/recovery space, a Class 3 ERCP endoscopy room, along with 10 new PACU bays and 9 pre/post-op holding area (poha) rooms. The team provided EUH with a mockup concept to ensure the expansion would allow the hospital to streamline the care delivered to its patients. Haskell Services Provided: Advisory, Design

Mayo Clinic Laundry Facilty Expansion
Haskell was selected to design a 10,000 SF expansion to the Mayo Clinic's on-site Laundry Facility. The current facility launders over 6.4 million pounds per year and has a desire to increase its capability to 17.5 million pounds per year. To complement the expansion an additional parking lot with a new site lighting system was required for staff parking and deliveries. The project will also provide additional chiller plant capacity. Community Clinic Concept
Haskell's Healthcare Engineering team was engaged by our client to provide a design concept that would convert a two-story 190,000 SF retail building into a clinical space. The team performed a Facility Conditions Assessment and conducted a planning exercise for multiple clinics. Spartanburg Regional Gibbs Cancer Center
Connected to an existing single-story diagnostic center, the 208,000 SF Gibbs Cancer Center focuses on the patient experience with an oncology pharmacy, chapel, centralized labs, and an entire floor dedicated to patients and families. The modern, energy-efficient HVAC design includes variable refrigerant volume (VRV) units, dedicated outside air system (DOAS), and energy recovery ventilators (ERV). The atrium includes hot water under floor radiant heating and a smoke evacuation system. Haskell Services Provided: Engineering

Novant Health Pharmacy Renovations and Expansions
Haskell's Healthcare Engineering team worked closely with Novant Health to update 14 medical center pharmacies across various campuses. Prior to beginning the design, our team provided a study of each facility’s current conditions and identified required upgrades to meet the new standards. In addition, the team was engaged to design new pharmacies in three Novant Health Oncology Specialists facilities to meet the revised USP 797/800 standards.
