Rachel Murray
Rachel Murray is a teacher of English and history who lives in a small town in County Sligo in western Ireland.
Born with a congenital heart condition called tetralogy of Fallot, Rachel has had two open heart surgeries and will require further surgeries. She was diagnosed with mild asthma at the age of 13. When she was 21, Rachel contracted double pneumonia, and as a result, her asthma has now taken on a severe, brittle form.
She established her Instagram page i_wheeze_alot to journal her daily struggle with the disease and highlight how severe it can be.

Darren is the founder of JustAir, an organization that aims to provide the air quality insights necessary for communities to better manage pollution's health impacts.
Darren has worked with community leaders to define relevant air quality objectives and build solutions so that communities are better equipped to accurately identify sources of pollutants and develop data-driven solutions to protect their breathing environment.
Monique Cooper and Javan Allison
Monique Cooper and Javan Allison, published authors of the series “The Adventures of Javan and the 3 A’s (Asthma, Anxiety, and ADHD)” have been bringing awareness to asthma since 2018.
Javan was diagnosed with asthma at just 2 years old. In 2018, he experienced a severe asthma attack that landed him in the ICU. Since then, Javan and his mother, Monique, have been letting the world know about asthma and Javan's experience, which has also allowed Javan to be the first young ambassador for the Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America.
