This fall, San Francisco’s Treasure Island is becoming the Bay Area’s favorite weekend escape, and it’s just eight minutes by ferry from downtown. On Saturdays, October 18, October 25, and November 1, Cityside Park comes alive with Off the Grid from 11:00AM–4:00PM—a waterfront celebration of food trucks, craft cocktails, and live DJs set against sweeping Bay and skyline views. On Sundays, Standup Sundays shifts the focus to the water, inviting paddlers and kayakers to Clipper Cove from 9:00AM to 4:00PM through November 2. Together, the events turn Treasure Island into a two-day celebration of food, music, and outdoor fun.
The lineup continues with local favorites that keep the Island lively from day to night. Mersea Restaurant and Bar hosts weekly comedy nights on Fridays featuring top Bay Area talent, plus live music every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday evening. Just down the road, Gold Bar Whiskey Distillery and Tasting Room adds its own rhythm with Friday night jazz sessions and Sunday DJ sets, drawing guests to sip and socialize with a waterfront backdrop. Framed by parks, trails, and open green space, Treasure Island is the perfect place for family-friendly entertainment amongst the natural beauty of the Bay.
