provide the highest level of care.”

Nursing is no longer an invisible profession. The days of nurses being viewed as mere assistants to the attending physician are gone—today, nurses are leading the charge. They are the face of healthcare, on the frontlines interacting with patients, who trust them with their lives. They relay insight and information to the rest of the care team and help plot the way forward when it comes time to decide on a path to treatment. And they continually contribute to new and improved methods of implementation, ensuring easier, more convenient, and more effective ways to administer healthcare for everyone.
At Allegheny Health Network (AHN), our more than 5,000 nurses are seen as essential members and valued partners on the care team. They are committed, educated professionals who deliver top-quality care and treatment while also contributing to the advancement of the healthcare industry.
Our goal is to support, engage, challenge, and, most importantly, empower our nurses to advance and grow both personally and professionally.
