Burbank Housing
Burbank Housing is the North Bay’s leading affordable housing nonprofit. For 41 years, the organization has built, preserved, and managed safe, affordable rental and for-sale homes in the North Bay. It currently provides homes to approximately 10,000 people across more than 70 rental communities, and has built over 900 ownership homes. Burbank Housing also has more than 500 affordable housing units in its pre-development pipeline.
The Chan Zuckerberg Initiative’s work is rooted in strong collaborations and partnerships with the community. We work closely with local organizations that are activating community-centered solutions to address housing affordability, homelessness, education, and more; and that are building community power. We also connect organizations and leaders so that they can work together, share knowledge, and identify collaborative responses to issues facing the community.
