I went to Lancôme’s Idôle House —and yes, it was a glossy fever dream
I knew it was going to be a big night when I saw the line wrapping around the block. The event was Lancôme’s Idôle House, a star studded affair packed with famous faces, fresh beauty finds, and glossed-up glamour.
Stepping into Idôle House felt like entering another world—one inspired by the elegance and attitude of global icon Olivia Rodrigo, Lancôme’s newest brand ambassador. In addition to Rodrigo, I spotted other high profile guests including Ed Westwick, Gabrielle Union, Amanda Seyfried, and Rachel Bilson — all who took part in the recent viral Juicy Tubes campaign. Everyone was excited to try Lancôme’s buzzy new launches–from the nostalgic return of Juicy Tubes to the lash-lengthening Flutter Mascara and the bold new Idôle Power perfume.
Music set the tone from the moment I walked in, with DJ Beau Cuz and a live saxophonist creating an effortlessly cool, vibey atmosphere. Indulgences followed with light bites, sweet treats, and cocktails like the Idôle Margarita and Juicy Espresso Martini, keeping everyone perfectly satisfied.
After sampling some tasty nibbles, I was immediately drawn into a series of immersive interactive rooms, each curated to reflect a unique facet of Idôle and infused with Olivia Rodrigo’s signature star power.
A wall of Juicy Tubes invited me to sample Lancôme’s latest lip gloss—an ultra-glossy dream come to life. Even Ed Westwick couldn’t resist its nostalgic charm, and each of us left with an adorable keychain to match our chosen shade. The collection included three brand-new shades inspired by Olivia Rodrigo herself, launched the very day of the event—making the experience feel even more exclusive. With four hours of hydration, Juicy Tubes delivers luscious shine and gloss–instantly transporting me back to my angsty teen years when lip gloss was all that. I’m so glad it’s back!
I couldn’t resist striking a pose on the Idôle Power mirrored runway—or getting the full glam treatment from Lancôme’s makeup artists at the beauty station. My lashes were given the Olivia treatment with Lancôme’s new Lash Idôle Flutter Extension Lengthening Mascara. I left with thicker, longer lashes that felt weightless and extremely lush. Apparently the groundbreaking next-generation formula delivers up to +75% visible length to extend the look of your lashes for up to 24 hours.
In another room, a classic claw machine beckoned, overflowing with Lancôme goodies just waiting to be won. In another, I stepped into a full-blown recording studio, complete with purple guitars and Olivia-inspired details at every turn.
As a lifelong perfume fanatic, I was thrilled to sample the newest Idôle Power Perfume. Bold and feminine, Idôle Power Eau de Parfum Intense blends creamy sandalwood, floral damescena rose, and fruity pomarose to deliver a powerful long-lasting scent. Designed for those who carve their own path, the fragrance captures the bold, boundary-breaking energy that Olivia Rodrigo embodies. I was even offered a custom perfume bottle, engraved with my initials.
The highlight of the night came when Lancôme President Françoise Lehmann took the stage to introduce Olivia Rodrigo, sharing how meaningful it was to welcome her as the brand’s newest face. It was incredible to watch her take the stage– dressed to kill and glowing in Lancôme’s latest lip gloss, mascara, and fragrance.

As the night wound down, I was delighted to receive a goodie bag to die for–packed with Lancôme favorites that let me relive the night’s glam long after I left. My fantasy night was complete–mascara still flawless, Juicy Tube in hand, and Olivia’s voice still echoing in my head.
Luckily, this early access evening wasn’t the only chance to experience Lancôme’s next-gen launches. The event ran all weekend—and from what I heard, the crowds didn’t let up, even in the rain. I had a chance to preview the space early via an intimate tutorial session with Olivia's makeup artist, and there was already a line wrapped around the building hours before it opened to the public. It was such a cool representation of how seamlessly the brand connected Olivia’s fanbase to the product. They really nailed it."
