Strong Start Ambassadors
Join the mission-driven team at Strong Start Academy Elementary School in Las Vegas to prepare civic-minded, global thinkers of tomorrow. The school has four openings for Strong Start Ambassadors who provide academic interventions to bilingual students. Candidates must be bilingual in English and Spanish to qualify. Service dates are September 2025-May 2026. Ambassadors are required to serve during the school day for 27.5 hours per week. Members receive a stipend and education award.

Advocate for inclusivity and mobility as a Community Affairs Ambassador. The Office of Government and Community Affairs has an opening for an AmeriCorps Member who is passionate about outreach to Spanish-speaking communities in Las Vegas. Ambassadors will develop and promote a calendar of community events, workshops, and resource fairs to increase participation of diverse communities.
