The First release in Old Nation’s “New Orthodox” IPA series, M-43 is designed to accentuate the deep and complex character from the combination of Calypso, Simcoe, Citra and Amarillo hops. Citrus and Tropical notes of Pineapple, Mango, and Grapefruit come through in the huge, yet surprisingly delicate aroma. The flavor backs these aromas with a soft, pillowy mouthfeel. Hop bitterness is not particularly intense, which leads to a very drinkable, New England IPA even non-IPA fans love.
This beer is a perfect interplay between top grade malt and hops, MI water, and brewing technique which cannot be faked.

About the Beer
Made with malt and hops grown locally with barley, wheat and a touch of oats making it light and dry with just enough body to help accentuate the yeast driven flavors. We go light on the hops with just a little floral, spice and citrus to once again complement the flavors we get from the yeast during fermentation. The end result is a 5.8% ABV beer that is light and crisp enough for warm weather, but has enough complexity and flavor to sit inside and think about when it's colder. We think that duality is very necessary for Spring in Michigan!

Newfound Brown — named for our Brand Ambassador, Henry the Newfoundland — is brewed with toasted oats, traditional English brown malt, and other heavily caramelized malts. These combine to lend depth and character, a slight sweetness, and a smooth, creamy body to this brew, making it perfect to cozy up with on rainy or snowy nights.
About the Brewery
Brewery Outré began as the vision of our Founder and Head Brewer, Ted Linabury. As a long-time homebrewer, Ted started Brewery Outré out of his love of great beer, pursuit of unique flavors, and desire to bring some more outré beer styles to his hometown of Kalamazoo, Michigan.
