Career and Technical Education has been part of Milton Hershey School’s legacy from the very beginning. Our founders, Milton and Catherine Hershey, were purposeful about incorporating hands-on training into the school’s curriculum–ensuring graduates were ready for immediate opportunities with in-demand skills.

Third and fourth grade students attend the annual Design Your Future CTE Fair on campus, where they learn about all 10 CTE program areas.

Fifth- through eighth-grade students participate in CTE curriculum. Their learning integrates:

High schoolers further explore the pathways before narrowing their interests. Ultimately, they select and study one for the remainder of their MHS education. Each student completes a four-credit CTE requirement prior to graduation.
