Discover Zanzibar
This tropical island paradise offers a choice
of white-sand beaches overlooking brilliant
blue waters, in which you can find world-class snorkeling, diving, jet-skiing, and windsurfing. Or venture inland to see the unique wildlife,
like the red colobus monkey or Zanzibar leopard. Also take in the history of Zanzibar City, home to Stone Town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and an 18th-century sultan’s palace known as the House of Wonders.
Indulge in
the Maldives
This island nation in the Indian Ocean is made up
of 26 atolls of more than 1,000 islands, dotted with dozens of resorts. What’s unique about this is that there is typically one resort per island, which means more privacy—and often more luxury. This includes the Conrad Maldives Rangali Island, said to be the world’s first-ever underwater hotel residence.
Journey to
Johannesburg
South Africa’s largest city offers a mix of urban culture, dining, shopping and nightlife, with easy access to outdoor adventure. The city began as a 19th-century gold-mining settlement,
so there is plenty of history, including Constitution Hill,
a former prison and military fort. You can also explore caves and nature reserves or stay to hunt for souvenirs in some
of the lively open-air markets.
Explore Cape Town
The icon of this South African city is Table Rock, a two-mile wide plateau that offers hiking, a National Park, and breathtaking views of the urban landscape below.
You can also surf, snorkel, or swim; explore the wine country just outside city limits; and even see wildlife at Boulders Penguin Colony. Then, come back to the city for the vibrant nightlife, including restaurants, dance clubs, and live music venues.
Trek through
Kilimanjaro
Hard to avoid the namesake peak, the tallest free-standing mountain in the world. But there’s plenty to do besides just climbing. The surrounding Mount Kilimanjaro National Park offers opportunities to hike, run, or take a horseback safari for watching baboons, bush pigs, elephants, and buffalo. Visit Chala Crater Lake, which shines every shade between turquoise to emerald green depending on the weather. And if just reading all this makes your tired, there are also luxury lodges where you can take a load off in the shadow of the great mountain.
Check in online to reduce interactions at the airport. Download your boarding pass to your phone through the Qatar Airways app or print your boarding pass at home.
Face shields are distributed at the airport and are to be worn when boarding and disembarking.

All service equipment is washed with detergents and rinsed with demineralized fresh water at temperatures that kill pathogenic bacteria.
Aircraft are disinfected after every flight with cleaning products recommended by the International Air Transport Association (IATA) and the World Health Organization (WHO).
All Aircraft feature the most advanced air filtration systems that provide the most effective protection against infection. The industrial-size HEPA filters remove 99.97% of viral and bacterial contaminants from re-circulated air.
All arrivals and departures passengers are screened for COVID-19 symptoms. Advanced thermal screening helmets are also used, equipped with infrared thermal imaging and artificial intelligence.
All handrails, baggage belts, trolleys and surfaces are disinfected and sanitized every 15 minutes, in addition to fully autonomous roaming mobile disinfectant robots.
Physical distancing is required at all times. Hamad International Airport has installed signage, floor markings, and distanced seating to ensure you maintain a 1.5 metre distance from other passengers.
All travelers are required to wear a face mask in HIA. Only people with a valid ticket are able to enter the airport.

Venture to Nairobi
The capital city of Kenya is not only a thriving metropolis filled with culture, history, shopping and cuisine, but it’s also home to some of the most beautiful wildlife. There is a bevy of parks and gardens, including the Karura Forest Reserve on the city’s outskirts, where you can walk through a bamboo forest, past waterfalls, along trails, and into caves. Then just minutes from the city center, there’s Nairobi National Park, home to zebras, wildebeest, lions, and giraffes.
