Korn, Blink-182, Deftones Headline Sacramento’s Aftershock 2025. Here’s Everything You Need to Know Before You Go

Legendary Performance: Blink-182. The beloved San Diego pop punk band returns featuring its iconic lineup of Mark Hoppus, Tom DeLonge and Travis Barker in what promises to be a night of anthemic sing-alongs. The fountain of youth may be elusive, but a Blink show may be as close as we can get.
Under the Radar Pick: Alkaline Trio. This Chicago punk band never reached the heights of its West Coast brethren, but Alkaline Trio is a true icon of the scene. Their songs are fast, dark, and every bit as catchy.
Hometown Heroes of the Day: All Shall Parish. These Bay Area deathcore pioneers are favorites of metal greats Metallica. For the uninitiated, this Aftershock performance will be the chance to catch one of the genre’s most brutal acts.

Legendary Performance: A Perfect Circle. Fronted by Maynard James Keenan of Tool, A Perfect Circle brings all the intensity of Keenan’s other band, plus an anthemic ear for melody. It’s rare that a band this technically gifted appeals to such a mass audience.
Hometown Heroes of the Day: Deftones. Sacramento-born and bred, Deftones are celebrating over 30 years as one of the best heavy music bands in the world. Be there for their victory lap.

Rare Reunion: Power Trip. Since the passing of lead singer Riley Gale, performances by this universally-celebrated speed metal band have been few and far between. This is your rare chance to catch Power Trip in its element.
Legendary Performance: Gojira. Perhaps the most extreme band in existence, France’s Gojira balance metallic proficiency, primal grooves, and otherworldly melodies, facilitating heavy music's progression into the future by burning down all boundaries. An immersive experience that must be lived to be believed.
Hometown Heroes of the Day: Korn. Back in the 90s, Korn put heavy music back on the mainstream map. Hailing from Bakersfield, Korn never disappoints in bringing massive wattage to any festival main stage.
Under the Radar Pick: Demon Hunter. Timeless. Transcendent. Relentlessly heavy. If you haven’t seen Demon Hunter live, this is a rare chance.
Saturday Oct 4
Legendary Performance: Rob Zombie. What more can be said of metal icon and horror film auteur Rob Zombie? How about this: Rob Zombie is the only artist to sell millions of albums and direct films that have grossed over $150 million worldwide. A true polymath. Just put down your phone during his set. Rob Zombie recently chastised his fans for using their phones during his set.
Under the Radar Pick: Cavalera. Cavalera features founding members of Sepultura, and for this special performance, the band will be playing Sepultura’s seminal album Chaos A.D. in full. This is a once-in-a-lifetime performance.
