• Donation requests greater than $200 must be submitted through our online application system and will not be accepted via email. Requests smaller than $200 should be directed to your local H-E-B store.
• Organizations may not ask more than one H-E-B Brand facility for a donation towards a particular event/program. This includes submitting the same request to multiple H-E-B / Central Market / Mi Tienda / Joe V’s Smart Shop stores; submitting an application online as well as to an H-E-B / Central Market / Mi Tienda / Joe V’s Smart Shopstore; etc.
• Organizations must maintain a valid 501c3 nonprofit status as designated by the IRS in order to receive donations from H-E-B.
• Application for support must be received via My Community Investment online portal at least eight weeks prior to the date organization wishes to receive an approval/decline notification.
• Regardless of giving history, organizations must reapply online every year if they wish to be considered for funding.
• H-E-B Public Affairs does not support funding for advertising, individuals, operating expenses, school trips, sports events, teams, or third-party fundraisers.
