A filter here and there is fun, but when you completely digitally alter your selfies every time you post, you can start to forget how beautiful you are naturally.

So much of what we see online these days might look “perfect,” but, whether we realize it or not, the content that we’re often engaging with is usually far from real, and is either super curated or heavily edited.
But, haven’t you heard? Being real is in, so get ready to post those non-aesthetic selfies and unedited group pics! We’re challenging you to have a so-real summer and join the social movement Beauty Unaltered®, a commitment from CVS® to using digitally unaltered beauty images.
Here’s to having the realest summer yet!
CVS is committed to producing realistic and unaltered beauty imagery to promote a healthier self-image online, which means that you’ll see photos of models that haven’t been thinned, smoothed, or digitally altered. With their Beauty Unaltered pledge, CVS has also promised to be transparent in labeling beauty images — so you’ll know what’s real and what’s edited.

What is one thing you love about yourself?
My ability to hype anyone up!
What is one piece of advice you have for someone who is just starting their self-love journey?
Look at yourself in the mirror every morning and compliment yourself or say, "I love you" out loud. It might feel awkward at first, but the more you do it the more you start to believe it. Also, start hyping up the people around you more often! It’ll make both you and them feel good.

What is one thing you love about yourself?
I love how I have been able to live life positively and colorfully despite adversity.
What is your fave way to stay authentic?
By disregarding the opinions of others, I liberate myself from the pressure to conform and stay true to my authentic self. Embracing my individuality and confidently owning my fashion and life choices empowers me to live authentically and without apology. Despite the questioning and scrutiny, staying grounded in my values and preferences allows me to maintain a genuine sense of identity and integrity.

What is one thing you love about yourself?
I love that I do things with confidence.
What are some things that make you feel confident?
I feel confident when I look at the relationships around me. I know that I've created each one intentionally and that being good brings good. I take steps to surround myself with like-minded people who push me to be better and remind me daily of my worth.

What is one thing you love about yourself?
My confidence.
What is one piece of advice you have for someone who is just starting their self-love journey?
NEVER GIVE UP! Love yourself always, never care about what you think others feel about you, and stay true to yourself!

What is one thing you love about yourself?
My abilities to be creative, empathetic, and magnetic.
How do you stay authentic online?
Keeping in mind personal boundaries, one way I like to stay authentic online is just by keeping it real. I love sharing inspirational messages online. For example, 2023 was a difficult year for me, so instead of putting together a trendy highlight reel to post, I decided to share my favorite lessons of 2023 with my followers.

What is one thing you love about yourself?
My smile!
How do you stay authentic online?
As a first-generation immigrant Latina, sharing my experiences navigating college and higher education is how I like to stay authentic through my content. Growing up I did not see much representation of women who looked like me so I think it's super important to embrace your uniqueness online. We live in a day in age where there are so many different beauty standards, but that is why I'm so honored and grateful to be part of CVS Campus Collective this year because the Beauty Unaltered campaign shows us that just being ourselves is beautiful.
