Connecting charities and corporates
for the greater good
Strawberry Soup is a unique and special event. It brings together charities and businesses from across Newcastle and the North East and sees charities pitch for funding. All attendees vote for the winners of the funding while they network with organisations from across the regions commercial, and charity sectors.
In 2025, Strawberry Soup will take place at One Strawberry Lane on:
All charities in the region can apply to take part in the Soup pitches. You can apply by clicking the below button.
If you’re selected to take part, on the night, your representative will do a five minute pitch to the audience about the impact you make locally and reveal how the prize fund will help your future projects.
At the end of the pitches, the audience will vote on which pitch scoops the donation pot. Runner up charities won't go home empty handed.
