You Can Make Yourself
Mix a batch in a clean spray bottle. Spray on surfaces and allow to
remain wet for 15 minutes.
Wipe with a clean cloth.
*Can substitute a squeeze of lemon for the essential oil
Kitchen Disinfectant
• 3% hydrogen peroxide
Attach a spray nozzle to the bottle of hydrogen peroxide. Spray surfaces and allow to remain wet for several minutes. Rinse clean with a wet cloth.
Grout Cleaner
• 1/2 cup baking soda
• 1/4 cup hydrogen peroxide (3%)
• 1 teaspoon castile soap
• 1/4 cup water
Mix a fresh batch in a clean container and spoon the
mixture onto grout. Let sit
for five minutes, then scrub
with a semi-firm bristled
brush and rinse clean.
Garbage Disposal Pods
• 1 tablespoon castile soap
• 1/2 cup salt
• 3/4 cup baking soda
• Several drops of essential oil*
Mix ingredients in a clean bowl.
Drop by the tablespoon onto wax
paper and let sit for 24 hours. While
water is running, throw one or two
pods down the drain and run the
disposal. Store extras in the freezer.
Glass Cleaner
• 1/4 cup vinegar
• 2 cups water
• A few drops of your
favorite essential oil
Mix a batch in a clean spray bottle. Spray on glass or mirror and use a lint-free cloth to
wipe down the entire surface.
*Add 1/2 teaspoon liquid dish soap
for a streak-free cleaner
Tub and Tile Cleaner
• 1 2/3 cups baking soda
• 1/2 cup castile soap
• 1/2 cup water
Mix a batch in a clean jar or spray bottle, shake well, apply using a cloth or sponge, scrub and then rinse.
*For granite or marble countertops,
choose castile soap over vinegar.
