Oversight & Accountability
It’s important to create third-party risk management governance documents. A policy, program and procedures are common governance documents used to assist in communicating third-party risk management roles and responsibilities throughout an organization.

Scope for what does and doesn’t need to go through this lifecycle process.
Scoping is defining what a vendor, service provider or third party is to your organization. Customers, clients and potentially certain partner types should generally be excluded from this process.
What is it?
A good best practice would be to establish a repeatable process to help verify all the appropriate relationships make it to the lifecycle by reporting the new relationship to the folks that manage it. This could be anything from sending an email to submitting a ticket to let risk managers know there is a potential new vendor being considered. Ideally, this would be the time when third-party risk professionals make a determination on whether the engagement falls in scope for further vetting.

Mapping
FSA Acreage Reports are available in Mapping’s print screen, allowing a printout that can be taken to your local FSA office.
Work smarter, not harder by batch scanning and attaching all policy numbers for the same Grower ID Number (TIN and TIN Type must match). For MPCI policies, once a user has selected the attachment(s) they wish to include, they are able to select other related policies for that grower, adding attachment(s) in one “Save.” This system functionality is applicable for all attachment types; however, it is reinsurance year specific.
Import CIMS data as a simple and quick starting point to your AR process.
The Fast Edit AR screen in eHarvest is an efficient and more traditional Acreage Reporting method. Key and validate acres in the Fast Edit AR using AR verification, then generate an AR, CLU-based AR or MBAR (If the policy has been mapped in the Mapping System). Not only can you key acres, but also: • Split land for late planting, • Elect High Risk, • Add a new unit, and • Add the signature date
Precision Farming
• Provides a more accurate record of your actual planted and harvested acres. • Allows for secure, electronic submission of data to your Hudson Crop agent from the convenience of your home office.

Are You Precision Ready?
NEW! Embedded Validation tool makes it easy to validate any AR in real time!
Imagine a digital footprint that records every data element in agriculture, increasing the predictability of agriculture for producers and insurance providers. It exists and it is Precision Farming! • Utilizes the data you already captured with your on-field equipment. • Simplifies crop insurance recordkeeping with fewer documents and paper records.
Create a pre-filled Map-Based Acreage Report (MBAR) or map book using last year’s CIMS CLU shapes and provide to your insured(s) for easy FSA reporting. This method expedites policy processing as well as potential claims and compliance functions, such as determination of acres and inspections.
