Finally, we come to the run. Everything we’ve discussed about the aesthetic and construction comes down to this. Who doesn’t want a lightweight yet cushioned and secure run? The BOUNCE tech and cushion combined will make each run a special one. Fret not about breathability because engineered zones provide plenty around the versatile silhouette – even when laced up. The BOUNCE is our new go-to on any run.
PERFORMANCE
Now take a closer look at the construction. The new innovative running sneaker is constructed with a seamlessly engineered mesh upper and BOUNCE cushioning. Molded EVA technology in the midsole and rear keeps the sneaker stable and supportive while in motion. The lacing system is also updated and nothing like you’ve seen. Five eyelets are placed in an unconventional pattern. The core character in the BOUNCE system is that lightweight midsole however – it’s almost like walking on a cloud with all the cushion in the world to provide that elastic running experience. There are no distractions or restrictions.
CONSTRUCTION
The alphabounce is available in a cool Core Black or Clear Grey colorway. Notice that the sneaker’s upper is covered in a subtle speckled and wave texture. That pattern was developed by Aramis motion capture technology. That means insights during a runner’s stride were applied to the design with minimal materials and stitching. Contrasting monochromatic patterns on the cap give the sneaker added depth and subtle Three Stripes branding on the tongue replace the more obvious statement that’s on the UltraBOOST cage or PureBOOST upper.
AESTHETICS
Move over UltraBOOST and YEEZY because there’s a new adidas drop on the block. Meet the alphabounce ams – a sneaker that targets the active runner in today’s market. From BOOST to BOUNCE, adidas even used motion capture technology to design its look. We put the alphabounce ams to the ultimate test. Keep reading to hear our review.
“AlphaBOUNCE was created from the notion that in order for athletes to perform at their highest potential, they need to be ‘in the zone’ – defined as a state of determination, clarity, or disconnect – which allows athletes to play more freely.”
