Juice Monster embraces spontaneity, bringing energy drink fans a productive boost in an unexpected way through intense flavors mixed with Monster’s world-famous Energy blend. Tuxe, a Brazil-based DJ, nightlife enthusiast and founder of Tandera Records, lives an adventurous lifestyle that aligns with the spirit of the brand. To help dive into the energy of Rio, he brings Juice Monster Rio Punch along for an explorative ride to his favorite spots.
The brand’s list of enticing flavors includes fruity options inspired by locations from all around the world. Juice Monster Rio Punch, an exotic fruit blend elevated by a hint of spice, was inspired by the sights and sounds of Rio, Brazil. Brazil is not only home to 70 percent of all known fruits but it is also known for its lively party culture, as Carnival illuminates the city’s streets annually and has a bustling nightlife scene. It only made sense for the flavor to reflect Rio’s upbeat identity as the beverage’s instant boost is sure to keep the energy up all night long.

Inviting others into the local party scene and cultural IYKYK spaces in Rio, Tuxe embarked on a tour of his favorite hangouts. As a DJ, Tuxe is inspired by Rio’s diversity, so many of his must-visit spots really highlight the communities that make Rio so special. To start off the day, Tuxe hit Barraca do Rasta Beach and Ponto G, a popular LGBTQ+ beach where he often meets up with friends to kick back and relax.
“You can find the most diverse groups here, just hanging around and having a great time. It feels like a big multicultural hub that connects people from different places and contexts. I think what’s special about going places where you find yourself comfortable is the feeling of belonging,” he shared. While at the beach, Tuxe met up with a friend and they took a Juice Monster break to pump them up and give them the energy they needed to take them through their day.

After leaving the beach, the DJ stepped into a record store to check out some new finds before heading over to Calma Bar, an underground venue with a relaxed ambiance. “I love that from the outside it has a very comfy street bar vibe, and the inside looks like it could hold an art exhibition, a fancy dinner, or a cozy dance floor,” he added.

Next, Tuxe brought Juice Monster Rio Punch to Bar Della, an all-women-run bar that’s hailed by locals and highlights the local music community. For Tuxe, it’s so important to create and be a part of warm, inviting atmospheres and that’s exactly why he appreciates Bar Della so much. The space welcomes in guests of all backgrounds and identities — “Bar Della holds some of the most diverse event proposals ever,” Tuxe explained, “I feel that it has that perfect, less pretentious vibe, where you can just meet a friend for a beer and be surprised by whatever event is taking place on that day.”
