The new generation inspires an eco-friendly footprint.
MERRELL'S
MOAB 03
The Brand’s Most Sustainable Moab Yet
Merrell is the versatile hiker of choice for adventurers braving rocky terrain and bustling city streets.
The outdoor brand is renowned for durability and utility, and with the Moab 3, Merrell presents its most sustainable Moab yet.
Available in multiple colorways, the Moab 3 doubles down on renewable materials
Recycled EVA foam comprises the midsole, and post-industrial polyester and rubber build out the sock lining and outsole. Merrell’s commitment to sustainability sets a standard for performance-enhancing innovation and leads a holistic approach to design from the ground up: the brand’s exclusive multisport Vibram® TC5+ outsole offers slip-resistant traction; a contoured Kinetic Fit™ ADVANCED insert provides arch support during dynamic performance; webbed throughout the upper is 100% recycled mesh to facilitate all-day ventilation.
The built-in Super Rebound Compound absorbs shock and is suitable for multisport, mountain biking, snow and water sports. Cobbled streets, Inca stonework and high-altitude mountain ranges in the Peruvian Andes are a suitable match for Merrell — and though the Moab 3 reigns superior as an outdoor hiker, the silhouette stylishly pivots into pedestrian environments.
Shot in Cuzco, Peru, the campaign lookbook embodies the versatile application of Merrell’s signature hiker.
Despite the model’s superior grip and traction, the Moab 3 remains flexible and adaptable to varying elements underfoot, providing unmatched comfort and stability.
By incorporating recycled materials and humanely sourced hides into its manufacturing processes, the brand solidifies its mission to invite more consumers outdoors and champions exploration while considering its eco-footprint on the environment.
For an all-around adventure hiker, consider Merrell’s latest generation, inspired by exploration for adventurers.
The MOAB 3 is available now on Merrell’s website and retails at $110 USD.
