Dennis Rodman Offers Enlightenment in
Moose Knuckles Canada's Fall/Winter Campaign
For a label who self describes as “Canada’s most infamous” outerwear brand and “no holds barred,” it makes sense that its latest campaign stars the equally infamous former basketball player Dennis Rodman. The brand introduces a new assortment of parkas, shirts and accessories — inspired by Man Against the Elements for Fall/Winter 2019 — with a short film.
The new campaign video, shot by Kid.Studio, and imagery shows one group’s journey to Sacred Glacier, a fictional slow-moving mass deep within northern Canada that can only be visited by overcoming the seven deadly sins. With Rodman as the leader, the group battles the gleaming light of greed, pride, envy, anger, lust, sloth and gluttony through a series of life changing rituals. ”This short is about ridding yourselves from the trappings of everyday life that consume us in all the wrong ways and how it is life’s purpose for us to break out of these cages and find our true calling,” explains Kid. Studio. At the end of the adventure, “real life awaits,” as the campaign slogan states.
REAL LIFE AWAITS
The collection itself pulls inspiration from a range of epic adventures, from Moby Dick to Deadliest Catch, manifesting as an assortment full of mariner design details. For the brand’s signature coats and parkas, classic styles are updated in new colorways in addition to fur-free options. Additionally, the series sees sleek new silhouettes and high-fashion options with high shine materiality.
The new collection is available now at global retailers and on Moose Knuckle’s website.
