Porsche’s Soul Electrified: The Current Within is a collaborative series of works produced by digital artists Rodolfo Hernandez, Travis Brothers and Isha Dipika Walia. The intricate, yet vibrant pieces were inspired by the innovative ethos of Porsche and the electric experience of driving the Porsche Taycan. Additionally, the partnership is an extension of Porsche’s Electric Art campaign, an initiative that champions artists and creatives by giving them platforms to showcase their awe-inspiring works on a global scale. Through the power of collaboration, Hernandez, Brothers and Walia applied their varying talents and skill sets to highlight Porsche in the most imaginative way, visually interconnecting the electric bond between car and driver.
There’s an unspoken love language between humans and their cars – a special connection happens on that very first drive. It’s a relationship meant for longevity where car and driver become one, sharing experiences and developing memories the driver will remember forever. With the Porsche Taycan, this remarkable relationship is elevated by electricity – it's literally the power that drives the vehicle, the same way our senses electrify our emotions. Driving conjures up feelings of joy, excitement and exhilaration which are natural responses to driving a state-of-the-art ride like the Taycan. Hernandez, Brothers and Walia translated these themes of electric emotions and the bond between car and driver through their creative lens.
Hernandez is known for his fantastical visual style, while Brothers and Walia have built a fanbase for their industrial-inspired themes. The artists collectively created four digital works depicting elements of the Porsche’s Taycan – motor components, the frame and the interior. They were then given human-inspired traits where muscle, skeletal features, veins, vessels and the heart are visibly seen powering and illuminating these objects.
Soul Electrified: The Current Within represents a surreal symbiosis of how electricity connects car and driver. The works also show how humans are driven to create through the pulsating senses that feed our emotions. On another level, however, the pieces fully represent identity – the Taycan is a reflection of one’s taste, not only symbolizing a deep appreciation for art and design but also one’s personal values.

“For me electrification means sparking something,” Hernandez says. “Giving energy to a series of elements that as a whole power something bigger. I think Porsche has this ability to spark emotions in people through their designs. This really creates a unique bond between them and their users.”
