GREEN FLAG RELAY
With more than 100 years of history, traditions permeate Indianapolis Motor Speedway. One of the most symbolic traditions is the waving of the Green Flag. Beginning in 1930, the Green Flag has signaled the start of more than 90 Indianapolis 500-mile races. As we count down the days to the 107th Running of the Indy 500 presented by Gainbridge, the Green Flag will once again embark on a journey around the world - celebrating the global reach of this historic race. Follow along to see where it heads next before it returns to Indianapolis and the 107th champion is crowned!

GREEN FLAG RELAY
01. Pite Havsbad, Sweden
The Green Flag began its epic journey around the globe in snow-covered Pite Havsbad for the all-star Race of Champions with NTT INDYCAR SERIES drivers Jimmie Johnson and Colton Herta! Chip Ganassi Racing's Johnson and Andretti Autosport's Herta, took second place Saturday in the prestigious Race of Champions Nations Cup.
Back from Sweden, the Green Flag headed to LA for Super Bowl LVI. Hoosier Sage Steele waved the flag on the red carpet as part of the celebration!
02. Los Angeles, CA
The Green Flag made a pitstop to Tokyo Japan, visiting our friends at the NTT Headquarters!
03. Tokyo, Japan
On its next stop, the Green Flag visited Texas Motor Speedway for the second NTT INDYCAR SERIES race of the season and spent time with WWE superstar Rey Mysterio, Ashley Reyes, of "How I Met Your Father," and Rich Ellis, of "I Am Not Okay With This.

The Green Flag made a stop in Jerusalem with Indiana Governor Eric J. Holcomb while on a recent Indiana Economic Development trip where the team met with government officials and business leaders!

The Green Flag visited Mr. Dallara at the Dallara factory in Varano de Melegari, Italy! Dallara is the official chassis manufacturer for the NTT INDYCAR SERIES.

Super Bowl Champion Nick Scott made one important delivery and received another important package at the Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach over the weekend: The Vince Lombardi Trophy and the Official Green Flag of the 106th Running of the Indianapolis 500 presented by Gainbridge!

A meeting of two icons: The official green flag for the Indianapolis 500 presented by Gainbridge makes a visit to the famed Sydney Opera House in Sydney, Australia with SpeedSeries driver Michael Caruso. The historic Harbor Bridge is in the background, and together these make for the most famous shot of Sydney, Australia.

Lights! Camera! Action! The official green flag for the Indianapolis 500 presented by Gainbridge made an appearance on live television all the way from the Netherlands! The flag was a part of the Ziggo Sport Racecafe broadcast with presenter and commedian Rob Kamphues. The Indianapolis 500 can be watched live on Ziggo Sport in the Netherlands as Dutch racing fans cheer on their home driver Rinus VeeKay.

Lights! Camera! Action! The official green flag for the Indianapolis 500 presented by Gainbridge made an appearance on live television all the way from the Netherlands! Three-time Indianapolis 500 winner Dario Franchitti is a master with the checkered flag, but how about the green flag? He took the official green flag for the Indianapolis 500 presented by Gainbridge to a fellow iconic racetrack: Silverstone in his home of the United Kingdom.
