It’s a July Fourth Weekend celebration for the NTT INDYCAR SERIES at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course. The Honda Indy 200 at Mid-Ohio Presented by the HPD Ridgeline will challenge these highly skilled athletes with extreme elevation changes, flowing corners, tight turns and a narrow racing line, including through the famous “Esses” of Turns six, seven and eight. “Six-time” doesn’t just refer to Scott Dixon’s INDYCAR SERIES titles – it’s also the record he holds for wins at Mid-Ohio. Can he ignite his championship charge and tie legendary Mario Andretti for second on the all-time wins list at 52, or will young stars Alex Palou and Pato O’Ward keep the Astor Challenge Cup out of his reach? Don’t miss this show Sunday, July 4 at noon ET, live on NBC.

Firestone is pleased to award prizes to the top three (3) teams with the most cumulative Firestone Pit Stop Performance Award points for the season. Cars must run at least 95% of the scheduled event laps to be eligible for the Firestone Pit Stop Performance Award points for any particular event. Points are awarded after each race based on shortest amount of accumulated time in pit lane during the race and mirrors race points.
The TAG Heuer "Don't Crack Under Pressure" Award is an honor presented to the driver who advances the most cumulative positions gained over the entire season, one point per position gained. If a driver does not finish higher than their starting position for a given race, they will be awarded zero points for that race.

It’s the final oval race of the NTT INDYCAR SERIES season as the battle for the Astor Challenge Cup heats up under the lights at World Wide Technology Raceway. This 1.25-mile oval has been home to close finishes, including Takuma Sato’s 0.040 of a second win over Ed Carpenter in 2019 and Scott Dixon’s 0.140 of a second victory over Sato in 2020. Will Alex Palou and Pato O’Ward continue their trend of finishing in the top 10 in every oval race this season? Or can last year’s race winners Dixon and Josef Newgarden tame the arches that make this oval to keep their championship hopes alive in the tightening points battle? Tune in to the Bommarito Automotive Group 500 Saturday, Aug. 21 at 8 p.m. ET, live on NBCSN to find out.

The NTT INDYCAR SERIES championship battle culminates with a three-week trip down the West Coast, and it starts this weekend at Portland International Raceway. Turn 1 always provides an active start to the race, and the remainder of the 12-turn, 1.964-mile road course is an open-wheel thriller. This Pacific Northwest circuit has been host to exciting finishes, like Mark Blundell’s 1997 three-wide finish and Takuma Sato’s nail-biter over Ryan Hunter-Reay in 2018. Tune in to the Grand Prix of Portland Sunday, Sept. 12 at 3pm ET live on NBC to see who takes the checkered flag and which title contenders continue their quest for the Astor Challenge Cup.
