Min-Liang Tan is Co-Founder and has served as Chief Executive Officer of Razer since September 2006. Mr. Tan also serves as the Creative Director and is responsible for directing and overseeing the design and development of all Razer’s products.
Prior to founding Razer in 2005, Mr. Tan was an attorney at Rajah & Tann, a law firm in Singapore.
Mr. Tan obtained a bachelor’s degree in Law from the National University of Singapore in August 2002.
Nate Nanzer is Commissioner of the Blizzard/Overwatch League, an association supporting a team-based video game. As Head of the Cross-Discipline e-Sports League, Mr. Nanzer oversees strategy, development and execution for all levels of play, including establishing business partnerships and competition rules.
Previously, Mr. Nanzer was part of the Marketing team at Blizzard Entertainment, where he began working in 2014, with responsibility for research and player insights.
Prior to Blizzard, Mr. Nanzer served as a consultant working with some of the biggest publishers and console-makers in the gaming industry. During his free time, Mr. Nanzer enjoys watching golf, soccer and basketball. He is also pursuing his goal of becoming one of the top Roadhog players in North America.
Alvin Wang Graylin is General Manager of HTC China, leading all aspects of the Vive/VR and the Smartphone businesses in the region. He is also currently Vice Chairman of the Industry of Virtual Reality Alliance with 300+ company members, President of the US$18 billion Virtual Reality Venture Capital Alliance, and oversees the Vive X VR Accelerators in Beijing, Shenzhen and Tel Aviv.
Mr. Graylin has over two dozen years of business management experience in the tech industry, including 18 years in Greater China. Prior to HTC, he was a serial entrepreneur, founding four venture-backed startups in the mobile and internet spaces, and covering mobile social, AD tech, search, big data and digital media. Additionally, he has held US$100+ million P&L roles at major corporations such as Intel, Trend Micro and WatchGuard Technologies.
Mr. Graylin is a sought-after speaker at numerous international conferences around the world, has been featured on CCTV, BBC, ABC and CNN, and writes regularly for leading publications on topics ranging from virtual reality, mobile internet, China business, digital marketing and entrepreneurship.
Mr. Graylin was born in China and educated in the United States. He received his M.S. in Computer Science from MIT, and his M.B.A. from MIT’s Sloan School of Management. He graduated at the top of his class with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Washington, where he specialized in VR and AI over two decades ago. He is fluent in English, Mandarin and Cantonese.
Elie Deshe is Founder and Managing Partner of VFD Esports, which specializes in esports investment, marketing and operations management. An expert in maximizing cross-channel success, he is responsible for developing VFD Esports’ investment strategies, operations and creative direction. In 2012, Mr. Deshe founded the company and is based at its headquarters in Miami Beach, Florida.
Mr. Deshe’s early esports investments include team Echo Fox, one of the leading esports teams in the world. He and his brother and business partner, Daniel, have managed the team’s marketing and operations for the past two years. Mr. Deshe is also an early investor in Vision Entertainment, a media production company focused on esports and video game content production, and which has made multiple esports shows and event broadcasts on network television, as well as on leading streaming platforms such as Twitch, Facebook Live and YouTube.
Prior to VFD’s esports initiative, Mr. Deshe was the Founder and Managing Partner of VFD Marketing, a leading agency focused on athlete management and marketing activations in Mixed Martial Arts, and specifically the UFC. For the past decade, Mr. Deshe has made a name for himself in newly created roles at well-known companies, leveraging his industry knowledge, deep network of contacts and appetite for rethinking traditional digital media strategies. Before founding VFD, he served as Vice President of Emerging Media for Safe Auto Insurance Co., a property and casualty auto insurance carrier, where he was responsible for e-commerce, digital marketing and event marketing.
Mr. Deshe graduated from the Leeds School of Business at the University of Colorado.
