"The zero drop is the best feeling ever, the naturalistic feel when running or weight lifting is better for strength building and power in the range of motion."

"The Paradigm is a fantastic shoe to transition into to Altras. Hoka was the love of my life until I met Altra. I went from the Hoka Bondi to the Paradigm, then also added the the Escalante and Solstice to my collection.."
"Any and all trails! Took a weekend trip recently to Frozen Head State Park in Tennessee to try out the LonePeak 4s in the mountains. It was an epic experience!"

"I have a good mix of road and trail events (in 2019) Each one makes me appreciate the other.."
"Lone Peaks for trails, Torin for roads. (I like the) wide toe box, zero drop across the brand makes it easy to switch between styles."
Favorite Altra style?
" (I am excited for) updates to shoes! New races and events being introduced too."
"I like the wide toe box, it allows me to open up my toes and use them for balance. I also like the flat bottom surface, it allows for more ground contact and easy pivoting when performing HIIT / Boxing. The weight is nice too, very light weight for quick agility movements."

"They make my body happy. I got crippling Achilles tendinitis after breaking my ankle in a 50k. I’m not saying the Altras cured my tendinitis, but they definitely helped!! Altras also make my body happy while running, and and I feel more stable on the trials in Altras."
"(I love the) super roomy toe box, zero drop, all add up to help encourage good form habits, and keep blisters away!"
"My first exposure to the brand was getting to run with Golden Harper when he visited the shop for a group run/info/form training session back in 2016. He leaped over a near-chest height gate from a light jog. I was super impressed. 10/10 from the East German judge."

" I wear the Escalantes while working because of the wide toe box and it's the only shoe that doesn't hurt my arch standing for 8-9 hours." "
"Wearing this brand has helped my running form improve for the better. I used to be a heel striker, which gave me a lot of hip and IT band issues. I started rotating the Torins with another shoe during my training. I started to run more on my midfoot, which translated to how I ran in other brands and I noticed my form & times improved significantly over time."
" For the road I absolutely LOVE the Altra Torins! For the Trails I prefer the Altra Timp."
"I won a trip with Altra to the Bethlehem Half Marathon and was able to bring along my now 17 year old sister. My sister the whole trip swore up and down that she wouldn't ever like the Altras based on the way they look. Altra actually seeded her a pair of Torins after she finished the race. A year later and she now will not wear anything else to run in! She even tried a ton of other shoes on, and still came back to the Torins. We now have my whole family convinced that these are definitely a shoe they need to try for themselves."
