David Kelly is responsible for all functions supporting revenue and driving organizational transformation. As chief operating officer, he oversees all business transformation, operations, financial, risk, marketing, human capital and technological aspects of the firm. As secretary, he is responsible for maintaining corporate records. His keen eye and decisive nature are instrumental in Kforce's evolution and exceptional performance.
Kelly previously served as Kforce's chief financial officer from January 2013 through October 2023. He joined the firm in 2000 and has held various positions of increasing responsibility. During his tenure, he's established processes and a team that is responsible for significant process improvements and internal technological integrations that coincide with the firm's transition and refined focus.

Kelly is a 2015 Kforce Chairman’s Award winner, one of the highest accolades a leader can earn. It recognizes dedication, passion and excellence at the highest level over the course of a successful Kforce career.
Prior to Kforce, Kelly served as vice president and controller of Komatsu America Corp and implementation manager for Selkirk Financial Technologies. He is a proud husband and father who supports several charitable organizations. He earned his bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Illinois and his MBA in accounting and finance from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
