Subsequent to opening season, Kimley-Horn decreased exit times by 40%
at Levi’s Stadium in the San Francisco Bay Area through
a series of event-specific traffic operations plans.
A world-class design for this Uptown Charlotte stadium and a revised traffic management plan for the surrounding street grid helped to move BB&T Ballpark from last in Triple-A Minor League Baseball attendance to first place.
At Mercedes-Benz Stadium, where schedule was critical, the Kimley-Horn team collaborated with the general contractor to locate the underground detention vault where crane impacts would be minimized, saving the project over $1 million in structural cost and providing an improved schedule.
Kimley-Horn has served as a consultant on 160+ LiveNation sites over the past
3 years from coast-to-coast. Our team has provided peer reviews and served as
an on-site client representative we know what works and what doesn’t.
Designed an intensive traffic management plan that directs 120,000 patrons and includes on- and off-site parking with shuttle service, contra-flow lanes, signing, striping, signalization, and vehicle routing at the Circuit of the Americas Formula 1 track in Austin, TX.
Improved pedestrian flow and safety, and concourse and entry design through innovative computer modeling at Target Field in Minneapolis, MN.
