Ready to hit the hay? Be sure to turn off your Christmas tree lights! Leaving Christmas tree lights on for prolonged periods can cause overheating and, in combination with a dry Christmas tree, can lead to a severe fire hazard. Make it a habit to turn off your Christmas lights every time you leave the house or go to bed at night.
