Exclusive inkjet engine technology with Drop-on-Demand (DoD) piezoelectric print heads provides single pass printing. Depending on file and the substrate used, the coating thickness can vary from a coating of 3 microns (μm) up to 200 μm for 3D raised texture effects and a tactile finish.
The patented AIS system uses artificial intelligence to create an automatic varnish and hot foil registration for inkjet heads over the preprinted sheet. It’s fully compatible with variable data foil (VDF) jobs.
The Corona Surface Treatment System (CSTS) is an optional in-line module made to optimize varnish adhesion on complex printed substrates.
High capacity feeder able to handle a paper pile up to 60 cm/23.6’’ high for 52x105 cm (20x42’’) sheets. Approximately 4,000 sheets at 135 gsm. Can be upgraded to Pallet Feeder to support sheet sizes up to 64x120 cm (25x47”).
