The Kings were part of the NHL’s initial Third Jersey program and unveiled the infamous “Burger King” jersey.
This jersey leveraged then-modern technology, featuring both sublimation and metallic fabrics for the first time.

At the turn of the millennium, the Kings donned a crown and reintroduced Forum Blue for the first time since 1988, while also debuting a laced collar jersey.

In 2002, the Kings promoted the crown to their primary logo and moved the shield from their primary jerseys to their third jerseys.
The Color of the socks is also swapped to match the color of the jerseys.

With the rise of the Reebok Edge uniform system, the Kings drew inspiration from the ’90s, returning to black and silver and introducing the “Home Plate” logo.

The Kings once again promoted an alternate jersey to their primary look, this time keeping their original Reebok Edge jerseys as an alternate for two seasons.

For their 50th anniversary, the team introduced a silver alternate with gold trim, inspired by the original home uniforms. The design featured silver bands around the sleeves to represent the Kings’ two Stanley Cup championships.

The silver jersey returned with the gold accents removed, remaining in the rotation for another three seasons.

In 2021, the Kings reintroduced the “Chevy” logo, this time with a metallic treatment. This modern take on the ’90s look proved popular with fans, while the “Chrome Domes” were a bit more divisive.

The crown returns with premium detail, brought to life through reflective thread technology, 3D embroidery, metallic silver twill, and a crafted gradient that elevates the gem’s execution. Inspired by the original 1967 jerseys, the crown is reimagined in today’s black and silver.
