The House of Panama was established in 1989 and has been a popular participant in House of Pacific Relation events. The house even has its own folkloric dance group called Sonares de Mi Tierra.
House of Panama
Mexico was originally part of the House of Pacific Relations from 1935 to 1941 before it disbanded. In 2004, it rejoined the HPR but hasn’t had a cottage of its own until now. Located at the northernmost end of the international houses lawn, the house will showcase Mexican history and traditions.

The sign identifying the House of the Philippines is written in Baybayin, a pre-Hispanic writing script that you can learn about as part of the cottage exhibition. This house was established in 1961 and will finally have a permanent home on the north side of the lawn near another popular neighbor, House of Mexico.

Established in 2005, the House of India has been promoting its culture and cuisine through lawn programs and food fairs. Now that it will have a permanent home, it will focus on arts, customs and languages.

This new cottage officially opened on July 31, 2021, and is one of the few places in the world outside Peru dedicated to showcasing the South American country’s culture. Situated at the southernmost point of the park, its goal is to teach visitors about Peru’s history, arts and cuisine.

This cottage is one of the first spaces dedicated to showcasing the Indigenous people and traditions of Guam and the Mariana Islands, including Saipan, Tinian and Rota. It hopes to welcome San Diego’s large Chamorros community as well as reconnect with military personnel stationed there throughout the years.

Established in 2004, the permanent home of the House of Turkey will showcase Turkish culture and food (including teas) and strives to be a center for education and connection between Turkish and American cultures.
House of Turkey
This cottage serves as a place to educate visitors and showcase Palestinian hospitality and culture through food, art and poetry. Located near the grand lawn, this new cottage includes Dabke dances and henna art.
House of Palestine
This popular member of the House of Pacific Relations finally has a permanent home for its cultural and culinary events. The House of Korea plans to showcase everything from history and clothing to food and K-pop.
