Will combine art, culture, entertainment, dining and education in a grand plaza. The amphitheater will seat 1,500 on benches, 1,500 on a grass lawn.
Pepper Canyon Amphitheater
and Public Realm
A six-building university center that will combine and consolidate key programs, including student health and UCSD Extension. It will also feature retail, dining, and a large alumni center.
Triton Pavilion
A new station is expected to handle 4,100 passengers a day, starting in late 2021.
Pepper Canyon Blue Line
Swings will be hung on long cables from the bottom of the elevated trolley station. The interactive art was developed by visual artist Ann Hamilton.
Twenty Play Swings
A a 400-foot-long pathway with raised letters that will spell out inspiring quotes from prominent figures and a poem by Hamilton, who developed this project.
Walkway of Words
A workspace that will focus on new products, ideas and services, while linking UCSD’s engineers, scientists, and artists.
