Andy Ives New Haven, CT

An environmental practice leader in Langan’s Doylestown office, Sean Damon specializes in directing large-scale site characterization and remediation projects, site assessments, brownfield redevelopments, and facility decommissioning. Langan’s corporate and developer clients in the Mid-Atlantic rely on Sean because of his extensive knowledge of state and federal environmental regulations, as well as his proven leadership as a Licensed Site Remediation Professional (LSRP) in New Jersey and Professional Geologist (PG) in Pennsylvania, New York, and Delaware. Sean also oversees Langan’s nationwide ecological and human health risk assessment practice.

Christopher Vitolano, PE, LEED AP, Assoc. DBIA Senior Principal New York, NY

Chris Vitolano co-leads Langan’s New York City site/civil group, working on urban redevelopment projects in the residential, commercial, industrial, institutional, and public space sectors. He plays a vital role in complex developments across the New York metropolitan area, using his expertise to integrate site design with geotechnical, environmental, traffic, and waterfront requirements. Chris contributes to the industry by serving on the technical committees updating the NYC Building Code and DEP Unified Stormwater Regulations, and currently teaching as an adjunct professor for Columbia University’s civil engineering graduate program.

Eric B. Schwarz, PE, LEED AP Senior Principal Orlando, FL

Eric Schwarz has led large multidisciplinary land development projects throughout Florida, Latin America, and the Caribbean for two decades, following 10 years of site development and environmental remediation projects in the Northeast. Eric leads Langan teams that work with globally respected designers in support of challenging master-planned mixed-use communities and all types of residential and commercial projects. He also leads Langan’s Orlando office, provides leadership oversight for offices in Charlotte and West Palm Beach, and guides the firm’s overall growth in the Southeast region.

Andrew Ives, PLS Associate Principal New Haven, CT

Companies working with Langan’s survey practice in New England and New York State are in great hands, largely due to the responsiveness, vision, and leadership of Andy Ives. Located in Boston, New Haven, and White Plains, Andy’s growing team provides comprehensive land surveying and mapping services for a range of projects in the public and private sectors. Through constant communication and collaboration, his team successfully deploys traditional methods and cutting-edge technologies to efficiently capture precise survey data.

Sony David, PE, LEED AP Associate Principal Dallas, TX

Sony David established himself as a go-to consultant specializing in difficult projects in New Jersey and New York before relocating to Langan’s Dallas, Texas office in 2021. From huge design-build K-12 projects, to multiple buildings for Bristol Myers Squibb, to M Station in Morristown and Liberty Science Center in Jersey City, Sony demonstrates the attention to detail required to complete challenging projects. Now in Dallas, Sony is replicating his success in the Northeast by supporting projects in e-Commerce, higher education, and healthcare, while helping to lead Langan’s rapid growth in the Lone Star State. He also continues to lead the firm’s national practice in demolition engineering. In 2019, ENR New York named Sony a Top Young Professional, and he continues to live up to that honor.

Jeffrey Stoicescu, PE Principal Parsippany, NJ

Jeff Stoicescu has been key to Langan’s emergence as a consultant capable of supporting complex projects in the aviation space. A natural leader and proven expert in his field, Jeff has applied his experience and connections to build a team of technical experts that handle projects at airports across the country, including Newark, JFK, LAX, Chicago O’Hare, Dallas/Fort Worth, and more. Currently, he is leading multi-service teams on many of Langan’s largest projects at JFK Airport.

Leonardo Rodriguez, PE Principal Miami, FL

Lenny Rodriguez is a trusted land development expert with a wealth of experience working on large-scale, complex projects spanning South Florida, Latin and Central America, and the Caribbean. He has established himself as the go-to consultant for developments across many sectors, providing clients with a comprehensive understanding of the permitting requirements and regulations of the regions he covers. His marquee projects include Hard Rock Stadium—where he managed site/civil for the football stadium, Miami Open tennis facility, and Formula 1 Miami Grand Prix racetrack—and UHealth at SoLé Mia, a seven-story, 363,000 SF medical center.

Serena T. Jang, PE, GE Principal San Jose, CA

Serena Jang is an accomplished and respected geotechnical engineer in the Bay Area and beyond. She leads teams that support clients in multiple real estate sectors ranging from high-rise and mixed-use to data centers, and sports and entertainment venues, including the state-of-the-art Chase Center. Serena also participates in the ACE Mentor Program as Board Secretary (Bay Area) and Chair of the Scholarship Committee, serves as Corporate Chair of the Women@Langan employee resource group, and supports Langan’s diversity, equity, and inclusion (DE+I) efforts as a member of the firm’s DE+I Committee.

Dan specializes in large, complicated land development projects, often on sites with major engineering and environmental challenges and mission critical deadlines. He has extensive experience in multiple sectors, and has become a leader in the e-Commerce, cold storage, and multi-family markets. Some notable projects include the Goya Foods Headquarters in Jersey City and the FreezPak Logistics Facility in Elizabeth.
