The ability to transport HIMARS using C-130 or larger aircraft and maritime vessels provides flexible employment options for any mission.
HIMARS employs a shoot-and-scoot capability which enhances crew and platform survivability in high threat environments. HIMARS can emplace, fire, relocate and conduct reload in a matter of minutes dramatically reducing an adversary’s ability to locate and target HIMARS.
With a recognized and proven range up to 300 km and a variety of future munitions in development that will offer extended range beyond 499 km, HIMARS delivers affordable, quick, long-range precision strikes.
