We’ve always been relentless in continuously pursuing a better way, but transforming ourselves as a purpose-led business means we are taking that ethos and DNA and building on it, making sure that at the heart of everything we do, there’s a purpose that drives us. To redefine the boundaries of ambition.
Our purpose is basically the ‘why’, it’s what motivates and excites us, it’s why we exist and the difference we can make.
our purpose is to redefine the boundaries of ambition

The construction industry can’t stop climate change altogether, but it can have a significant impact on turning the tide. Shifting to renewable energy sources, reducing travel, better repurposing existing buildings, adopting low carbon alternatives and actively supporting new technologies - we all have a role to play. The sum of our efforts will be our turning point.
CLIMATE CHANGE IS THE DEFINING CHALLENGE OF OUR TIME.
AS A GENERATION. AS A SOCIETY. AS AN INDUSTRY.
In 2020, Mace reduced its carbon emissions by 50%.
A combination of new technology, new methods of construction and new working practices saw us reduce our emissions from 26,000 tonnes to 13,000 tonnes between January and December.
CARBON REDUCTION
THE STEPS WE TOOK
In 2020 Mace became a
net zero carbon business
To account for the remaining emissions, Mace offset through Gold Standard programmes that generated additional social value to local communities in areas that we work.
