Gamers and creators have shown time and time again how community-driven philanthropy improves lives. Here at Make-A-Wish, that means bringing hope and strength to children and families enduring critical illnesses. Every day, more than 35 wishes are granted throughout the U.S. and its territories. Unfortunately, a child is diagnosed with a critical illness every 20 minutes. More than 300 gaming-related wishes have been granted this year alone, but more than 200 kids are still waiting.

Hunter’s Wish Helps Him Build Confidence and Strength

Hunter's wish to learn how to surf helped him not only escape his daily routine of treatments, but also empowered him to gain the skills he wanted so that he could surf alongside his siblings at home. His wish was also an opportunity for this Florida boy to experience the West Coast and fly in a plane - something he loved! Hunter's wish helped him feel more joyful, confident and hopeful for the future.
