#BlanketChange launched in 2018, laying 700 blankets on the National Mall in front of the U.S. Capitol to symbolize the number of women who die each year during childbirth or due to its complications. We’re continuing to use the iconic hospital receiving blanket that most parents are familiar with to extend this successful national awareness movement.
The U.S. remains among the most dangerous developed nations for childbirth. That’s why March of Dimes, the leading organization fighting for the health of all moms and babies, needs our partners to support the #BlanketChange agenda and call for access to quality healthcare, equity, and prevention.
We must do more to protect our nation’s moms and babies—and passing legislation that prioritizes their health can make all the difference. Join us and demand #BlanketChange now.
