Colleagues visited Coastal Roots Farm, a nonprofit Jewish community farm and education center, where they helped set up the foundation, supports, and sails for shaded areas, as well as stained wooden fences. Colleagues painted the dining hall of the PRC Robertson Place residence, a transitional treatment program for adults with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders. PRC has been transforming the Bay Area for decades, helping those affected by HIV/AIDS, substance use, and mental health issues achieve their best selves by providing the support and services they need to reclaim their lives.

In November, colleagues took on a region-wide challenge to collect as much food as possible for their local food bank. Out of 24 participating offices, Polson had the fewest colleagues, yet they excelled, averaging an impressive 178 pounds of food donated per person. Their dedication to helping those in need showcases our shared commitment to supporting our communities.

The team invited carrier partners to join, engage with, and learn about four nonprofits. They hosted a live auction where donations were raised to pie local leadership in the face. The event's theme focused on childhood wonder and joy, offering opportunities to donate and create nostalgic candy and swag bags from past generations, as well as a silent auction and raffle for colleagues. In total, $145,369 was raised in 2024.

A few times each year, colleague Martti Rahi brings a trailer with 20 bikes, gathers colleagues from the Madras and Bend offices, and visits an elementary school to share the joy of biking. Kids ride on the school grounds and receive one-on-one assistance if needed. Last May, 60 third graders from Culver Elementary School participated, and by the end, every student was able to ride on their own.

This MiLB game raises funds for the foundation and honors children with brain tumors, their families, and survivors.

Wreaths Across America was a new initiative for the San Antonio office that allowed our colleagues to truly shine. They scheduled two days: one for laying wreaths at gravesites and another for cleaning up Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery. Our colleagues and their families led both efforts and did an excellent job.
Throughout the year, colleagues supported Holy Angels, an organization that assists individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in achieving self-fulfillment through education and empowerment. A kickoff event featured Holy Angels' leadership and residents, and colleagues hosted a bingo party at the center, providing prizes and a bingo game set. The office raised over $10,000.
