MMA maintains an active commitment to the communities in which it operates.
Each year, the Minneapolis office at Marsh & McLennan Agency leads the charge and teams up with our carrier partners through MMA’s Charity Challenge to show our industry’s commitment to helping the community.
Over the past 13 years, with the help of our partners, MMA has helped many children and families, and will do so again in 2023 through four local charities:

MMA will continue this tradition in 2023 in hopes to reach its goal of $275,000 to make a difference for these families!

Pinky Swear Foundation's mission is helping kids with cancer and their families with financial and emotional support. Vision: To say yes to every family with a child battling cancer.
Before nine-year-old Mitch Chepokas died from cancer, his dad made a pinky swear promise with him to continue to help children with cancer and their families by providing immediate needs support and unique family programs. Pinky Swear Foundation was established by Steve and Becky Chepokas in memory of their son, Mitch. Since his death in 2003, Pinky Swear Foundation has provided more than $4.5 million in financial assistance and quality of life support. We’ve helped thousands of families whose children are bravely battling the ugliness of cancer.

Our mission is to close the degree divide and make college possible for students from low-income backgrounds through an intensive curriculum of coaching and support.
They also have “4 Key Pillars”: Near-peer coaching: College Possible is
a proud AmeriCorps organization, powered by talented and idealistic AmeriCorps and VISTA members who serve as near-peer coaches to high school or college students. Research-based curriculum: We realize that the path to and through college is complex. Our curriculum encompasses topics such as finding a best-fit college, academic preparation, financial planning and personal development. Peer support network: We build a community of support among College Possible students to serve as an additional source of encouragement for one another. Commitment to college success: The goal of helping students earn a college degree drives all that we do.
