There are many leaks suggesting Apple will rotate the dual cameras on this year’s iPhone 8. Instead the cameras horizontally aligned, they’ll be vertically positioned. If it turns out to be true, it’ll most likely become the template for future models.
Our iPhone 2020 has dual 16-megapixel cameras. Apple could go with 20 megapixels in 2020, but historically the company’s been conservative with upping the camera resolution.
Expect the camera bump to remain on the iPhone in 2020. Given the choice between removing it and boosting image quality, Apple greatly favors the latter.
