The barcode reader on MaxCyte instruments is specifically designed to scan MaxCyte buffer bottles, helping to reduce input errors, enhance traceability, and streamline system setup. This functionality supports GMP-compliance requirements, making it well-suited for use in cleanroom environments.
Barcode Reader
The software-operated peristaltic pump ensures consistent sample processing, preserves cell viability, maximizes the total yield of engineered cells, and enables a successful transfection result. The pump's design is ideal for sensitive cell engineering processes. Samples are moved by the positive and negative pressure as the pump function introduces and removes air from the closed electroporation system, allowing the sample to flow gently through the processing assembly.
Peristaltic Pump
The pinch valves provide reliable and aseptic flow control by precisely opening and closing the fluid pathways. Software regulates the opening and closing of the tubing to ensure the correct Flow Electroporation® workflow. This innovative design ensures controlled, accurate, and sterile fluid processing throughout the electroporation process.
Pinch Valves
The hooks are designed to facilitate the Flow Electroporation® process by providing dedicated hang points for both sample and collection bags. This setup helps streamline bag management, ensuring proper flow and maintaining an organized, efficient workspace during cell processing runs.
