Our history
Reducing the number of young adults not in education employment or training, by widening access to the education and jobs market and developing their networks, relationships, and cultural knowledge.
This work aims to engage young people aged between 16 and 25 years old.
Improving access
Closing
the gap
Attainment is strongly linked to pupils' non-cognitive skills like conscientiousness, motivation, self-perception, and social-emotional skills (DfE, 2024).
More young people are better prepared for life, through equal access to opportunities that develop essential life skills e.g., teamwork, leadership, ambition and self-belief.
This work aims to engage children aged between
8 and 16 years old.

Closing
the gap
Reducing the attainment gap by supporting young children and their parents and carers to develop foundational skills, e.g., literacy and numeracy for success at school.
This work aims to engage young children aged between
0 and 7 years old.

Our purpose
Our purpose is to support under resourced young people to achieve their potential and feel positive about their future. We achieve this working across three key focus areas.

life skills
The attainment gap begins in the early years and is largest for children eligible for free school meals and those assessed with special educational needs (EEF, 2018)
