"We are passionate about helping young people on their path to education and finding their place in society.
I'm really looking forward to telling the girls a little bit about me and my path, and I feel honoured to be able to act as a role model. The more women they meet who have broken stereotypes, the more it strengthens their conviction to follow their path."

In the village of Reerdé, located in northern Senegal, limited access to clean water, education and essential resources has long posed challenges to the community. From having to walk long distances or rely on unsafe river water to school dropouts due to menstrual insecurity, families faced everyday hardships throughout the village.
To address this, our teams in Senegal launched an initiative addressing three key improvement areas: providing a sustainable source of clean water, building a classroom to improve learning conditions and ensuring girls can stay in school with proper menstrual health support.
Our work with LP4Y focuses on providing professional opportunities by enabling youths to gain hands-on experience through internships at Forvis Mazars. Participants develop vital workplace skills such as communication, time management and work ethics while receiving support to overcome personal challenges.
These efforts help them build confidence and prepare for future educational or career paths.
In 2024, we launched Intern diaries, a programme designed to support recent undergraduates and graduates by offering hands-on internships, scholarships and resources to help them pursue professional qualifications and chartered status.
Starting with nearly 40 interns, the programme is more than just an internship, it’s a launchpad for students to gain experience, build confidence and take the next steps in their careers, addressing the growing trend of youth considering emigration for better opportunities.

These high-potential profiles, which are needed for our talent pipeline, are trained and incubated for 12 months. Following the programme, 80% of the talent then joins our firm while others take with them newly marketable skills.
