Tommy Bowe
Ireland AM presenter
Tommy Bowe is an Irish television presenter and former rugby union player from County Monaghan. His career spans over two decades, starting as a wing for the Ulster squad in the 2003-04 season. He went on to play for Ospreys and Ireland, earning 69 caps and scoring 30 tries for the national team. He also played for the British & Irish Lions on two tours (2009 and 2013), earning five caps.
Renowned for his pace and finishing ability, Bowe was named Six Nations Player of the Championship in 2010 and received multiple Player of the Year awards throughout his career.
Following his retirement from rugby in 2018, Tommy transitioned into broadcasting and is now a co-host on Ireland AM alongside Alan Hughes and Muireann O'Connell.
As an ambassador for the Steps Team Challenge, Tommy’s enduring passion for sport, fitness and teamwork aligns seamlessly with the initiative’s values, motivating participants to take meaningful steps toward a healthier, more connected lifestyle.
Laura Fox
Radio & TV presenter
Laura Fox is an Irish television and radio presenter from County Galway. She began her broadcasting career in 2015 with Galway Bay FM before joining RTÉ in 2017, where she worked on the digital station RTÉ Pulse. She then went on to host her own weekend breakfast show in 2022.
In June 2023, Laura began hosting RTÉ One television series, Ireland's Fittest Family, where families from across Ireland compete in various adventure races and fitness competitions in an effort to win the €15,000 prize. She also showcased her talents and passion for teamwork as a finalist in the 2024 season of Dancing with the Stars and will temporarily replace Doireann Garrihy as presenter for the upcoming 2026 season. In May 2024, Laura took over 2fm's coveted 9am to 12pm slot.
As an ambassador for the Steps Team Challenge, Laura brings her energy, passion for teamwork and commitment to excellence, motivating participants to stay active, collaborate and pursue their goals with enthusiasm.
