Throughout the day, participants will take part in a
variety of safe, expert-guided, hands-on experiences
while learning about the construction industry and why construction offers a variety of rewarding career options for women. Experiences will span a range of construction activities from heavy equipment operating to drywall, wiring, roofing and virtual reality.

McCarthy Construction 101 is an interactive opportunity
for young women to learn new skills and about the wealth
of careers in the construction industry. Working alongside experienced industry leaders and trade contractors, participants will spend the day collaborating on a variety
of hands-on construction activities while gaining firsthand insight into various construction career paths, developing
a safety-first mindset and building self-confidence they
can apply in all aspects of life.

Attendees may arrive and leave as needed. If you can’t begin the event with us, we still encourage you to come later! All attendees are required to sign a waiver, regardless of entry time.
