Vertihubs, the largest landing structures, comprise stand-alone new constructions in central, high-traffic areas, with ~10 active takeoff and landing areas, plus ~20 additional spaces for parking or maintenance. They could also offer retail and other services for passengers.
Vertibases are medium-size structures, either newly built or created by retrofitting existing structures (eg, parking garages, commercial-building rooftops). Located in medium-traffic areas, such as suburbs or major work or retail locations, vertibases would have ~3 active takeoff and landing spaces, plus 6 additional parking/maintenance spaces.
Vertipads are the smallest landing structures, typically located in suburban or rural locations (≤50 miles from the rest of the network), with 1 takeoff and landing area and 2 parking/maintenance spots.
