Compassionate Leave Policy
Providing Support for Life-Changing Experiences
Spearheaded by Associate Natalie Groot, Mintz’s pioneering compassionate leave policy supports the career paths of attorneys and professional staff by providing paid leave in the event of an employee’s miscarriage or after failed fertility treatment, adoption, or surrogacy. These benefits empower women at the firm to pursue their professional goals while addressing health and family priorities. Natalie researched the issues and championed the initiative at Mintz after experiencing similar challenges within her own family.
