Through a partnership with the Chicago Mayor's Office of Community Safety and Chicago’s 4th Ward Alderman Lamont J. Robinson, the Chicago team launched the ‘Words of Love’ initiative. This community safety initiative promotes positivity through creative, community-focused initiatives.

Team members across Data Centers, Salt Lake City and Federal Contracting joined forces to host the second annual Gold Star Clay Shoot in Eagle Mountain, Utah, to raise money for the American Military Family (AMF). Teams had over 190 shooters, 100 volunteers, and 38 sponsors supporting the cause, raising $105,000 for AMF—its largest donation to date!

Team members from Civil, Solar, Power, and Wind teamed up with Girl Scouts to provide hands-on projects and STEAM learning opportunities within the construction industry. Alongside partners and participants, the Denver team hosted its 17th annual charity golf tournament in support of Food Bank of the Rockies. The event had over 200 golfers across 50 teams come together to raise an impressive $100,000 to support the largest hunger-relief organization in the Rocky Mountain region.

Since launching with Rebuilding Together in Minneapolis and Texas in 2022, Mortenson's community-powered home-repair efforts now span five regions, delivering safe, healthy housing through skilled volunteerism and a deep, ongoing commitment. The partnership most recently included efforts in Phoenix to assist homeowners with low-maintenance and drought-resistant landscaping.

Since 2011, Mortenson has partnered with Cristo Rey Jesuit High School, a private, career-focused high school in South Minneapolis that partners with over 140 businesses sending students to work one day a week earning ~40% of the cost of tuition.
